Come and help Friends of Calgary Bay get Calgary ready for the summer, Activities include a beach clean,
painting, and a general spruce up followed by refreshments. Donations to tea party welcome.

Butterfly walk with Tom Prescott of Butterfly Conservation
Join Tom for a walk to the Dun on the spectacular Glengorm Estate, identifying butterflies on the way.

Meeting Point: The coffee shop car park at Glengorm Castle. Take the B8073 Tobermory to Dervaig and
take the right hand turn signposted Glengorm. Just after the gates to the estate take the turn to the

Guided walk- High Hills of Burg.
An all day hill walk up Bearraich at Burg on the Ardmeanach peninsula. The route is rough at times with no
footpath in places. We’ll look at the rich natural and cultural history of the area and take in some amazing
views of the geology of Mull and surrounding islands.

Please bring walking boots, waterproofs and a packed lunch. Binoculars and a camera would be a good idea
too. Meeting point: NTS carpark at Tiroran.

Enjoy a relaxing trip to the Sea Eagle Hide beside Loch Frisa and enjoy the scenery, watch the wildlife and
maybe see the Sea Eagles coming in to roost.
Time: Start at 7.30 p.m. Duration 2 hours
Meeting Point: please meet at the end of the Forestry track off the main A848 Craignure to Tobermory
road at the Lettermore end. The ranger will escort you as you drive down to the hide in convoy.

drive in convoy to the wildlife patch!
