Guided Walk - Staffa Stuff!
The Ranger will meet your boat, on Staffa, and guide you to the best place on the island for puffins, you’ll
get time to explore Fingal’s Cave on your own. Bring sturdy footwear and a camera.

Calgary Work 'Party'
Come and help Friends of Calgary Bay get Calgary ready for the summer, Activities include a beach clean,
painting, and a general spruce up followed by refreshments. Donations to tea party welcome.

Butterfly walk with Tom Prescott of Butterfly Conservation
Join Tom for a walk to the Dun on the spectacular Glengorm Estate, identifying butterflies on the way.
Time: 2pm until 4pm
Meeting Point: The coffee shop car park at Glengorm Castle. Take the B8073 Tobermory to Dervaig and
take the right hand turn signposted Glengorm. Just after the gates to the estate take the turn to the

Guided walk- High Hills of Burg.
An all day hill walk up Bearraich at Burg on the Ardmeanach peninsula. The route is rough at times with no
footpath in places. We’ll look at the rich natural and cultural history of the area and take in some amazing
views of the geology of Mull and surrounding islands.

Please bring walking boots, waterproofs and a packed lunch. Binoculars and a camera would be a good idea
too. Meeting point: NTS carpark at Tiroran.

Guided walk- The Wild Flowers of Treshnish

Join Norma Dowling for a relaxing stroll identifying the wide variety of wild flowers at Treshnish. Bring a
picnic lunch if required.

Evening at the sea eagle hide
Enjoy a relaxing trip to the Sea Eagle Hide beside Loch Frisa and enjoy the scenery, watch the wildlife and
maybe see the Sea Eagles coming in to roost.
Time: Start at 7.30 p.m. Duration 2 hours
Meeting Point: please meet at the end of the Forestry track off the main A848 Craignure to Tobermory
road at the Lettermore end. The ranger will escort you as you drive down to the hide in convoy.

Activity: Young Wildlife Detectives Day near Loch Frisa Eagle Hide
A morning for young nature fans to find clues and signs along the track and in the fields. Children between 5
and 12. Adults welcome to join in. Please book on 01680 300640. Numbers limited to 15 children.
Meeting Point: at the Sea Eagle trip meeting point (off the Tobermory /Dervaig road end). We will then
drive in convoy to the wildlife patch!

Join us to discover a few of the beautiful native species of this protected woodland. We’ll set a moth

Guided walk: Trip to the Top - Ardmore - a geology walk
Come and join Seamus Westland and Jan the ranger led walk around the northern most tip of Mull.
The walk offers the chance to learn about the geology of the area and also the fine mosaic of wildlife,
including eagles, seals, coastal and woodland birds and flowers

A walk exploring the natural and cultural history of this tidal island (setting for Robert Louis
Stevenson’s ‘Kidnapped’), stopping off at the seal colony, lighthouse observatory and a beautiful sandy beach.

A strenuous walk over rough and beautiful coastal terrain to MacCulloch's Fossil Tree, involving a descent
and ascent of a steel ladder down a rock face (not suitable for dogs). Bring waterproofs, sturdy boots,
packed lunch and drink. Bring binoculars if you have them.
